I realise I haven’t updated on the “Ignite” discussion last week, which was a bit tardy as I asked you to pray. Essentially the discussion went well, no-one lost their temper or threw anything, and the issues that the two guys were concerned about are largely resolved. They are still taking a bit of time off though.
I think one area we are missing is our understanding of community. We seem to have forgotten that community is more than a happy club where people like each other: it’s hard work and we need to be committed to love one another in all disagreements, failings and confusion, and theological differences, because community, not theology will show this world a taste of what Gods love is like. Please pray for this in the coming weeks and months…
