Multitasking…

This weeks venue: The Lutheran Church in Beitigheim.

Last night was the final rehearsal before the world premier of “Xpresso To Go” in Bietigheim Lutheran church on Sunday, and at the same time, starting the read-through for the July drama. Serious multitasking.
Artistically the team is pretty good. If they present anything like they rehearsed they will have no problems on either Sunday, except for the low ceiling in the Vineyard church- walloping the host church’s roof is not a great way to get return invitations.
We are definitely getting some opposition spiritually though: it’s showing up in small issues between team members and in occasional discipline problems. It’s nothing unusual or serious, but your prayer would be appreciated.
The piece for July needed some working through. The person translating isn’t used to my often downright odd English usage, and so we had to work together to rewrite some bits. Nonetheless the team have taken it on –I always ask a team if they are prepared to do something and change it if not- and we’ll be doing a walk-through next Wednesday.
And, on top of that the theme for September is decided. We are looking at the account of Jesus healing the ten lepers in Luke 17:11-19, and how one came back to thank him, so the theme is “Turnaround”, and I’ve got a whole month to write it…
