Tonight is our „Gemeindeforum“ which happens every few years here. The equivalent of a district chairman (ie: our pastor’s boss) comes and we invite the mayor and the heads of the local clubs and organisations to come and tell us how they see the church and what we are doing.
I’ve got mixed feelings about this: it could be a great evening where we get a lot of useful feedback how we could reach the village. It could be a whinge session. I doubt it will be because the chairman is a strong visionary and former youth pastor, but Prayer for our pastor would be appreciated, as he will understandably be feeling quite vulnerable.
