Sunday will be the worldwide debut of 'the cheapest show on earth' in Kemnat.
As usual we are part of a service, and the theme for this one is 'Trust', so naturally we are doing dangerous stuff, as a practical demonstration, of course.
We often try out different styles, but this piece has two fresh components: not only will we be throwing diabolos all over the place, including the balcony, we will also have a significant amount of improvisation. We've been wanting to do this for a while, and when we found that a significant amount of text had to be cut because of one member being unable to be there on the day, our lead actors took the opportunity and developed a whole new show. We had a rehearsal last night and I think they're looking pretty good. Just pray that the diabolo (which is being partly operated by yours truly -my first time onstage in several years) behaves itself and goes to the person catching it, rather than flying off into the pews.
