Over the last two years Domi gradually got more and more involved in the work, performed, directed, helped to write several of the scripts, came up with the team name, and co-led the team for a while. As well as being a great co-worker in Xpresso, Domi has been a great friend over the last two years: we've consumed gallons of tea, challenged each other and encouraged each other, and discussed theatre, theology and just about everything else in between. We've played with the boys, dreamt up new ideas, presentations, and plans and much of the material that was ultimately presented in the church and elsewhere was developed over long tea drinking sessions around our kitchen table.
It's hard to underestimate what a big step it is for someone who has grown up in the security culture to step away from it and live day to day trusting God for the next meal, so while we will miss Domi a great deal, we are proud of him for making this very courageous step forward into his calling.
I've said that's fine, if we can do it by bike.
