Winter has arrived...

And suddenly we have 20cm (about 8 inches) of snow, which isn’t unusual in itself but all at once it was sufficient to close the road through the valley and stop the bus services in the morning so the road is very quiet. It took me an hour to clear the snow in front of the Kindergarten this morning. I nearly buried someone’s car. I expect I’ll be there again this afternoon because the snow is coming fast and I can’t let it freeze or I won’t be able to shift it tomorrow. On the other hand it means we can go sledging this afternoon…
